Continuous trust

I watched this video the other day on another blog. What spoke to me was the “trust God through everything, no matter what” (paraphrased).

This is one of the things that God is working with me on now (one of the many). I have not been consistent with much in my life for very long (in comparison to the 46 years that I have lived) and this is one of the lessons I am being taught.

Trusting consistently takes practice! I think I need to make a list of all the things that I am suppose to be practicing daily and put it up on my wall somewhere. This list would include: all of the spiritual principles that I have learned about in the 12 step program that I am a member of (honesty, open-mindedness, willingness, humility, acceptance, tolerance, forgiveness, etc.); finding joy in the journey; keeping an attitude of gratitude; don’t judge anyone; practice being satisfied, etc.

The video is awesome in so many ways, and Jeffrey R. Holland just seems to touch my spirit every time I hear/read his words.

Today I am just glad that I am able to be a part of this wonderful journey called life! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. (((HUGS)))
